Welcome to Sarita G Laboratory for Intelligent Rehabilitation and Affective Computing Systems (IRACS) at IIT Gandhinagar.

We are currently working on developing AI-enabled Adaptive Physiology-Sensitive Virtual Reality based platforms. We have created a portfolio of devices / solutions at our Lab with many of them being patented in the domains of:

Social Communication Skill Training Platform for individuals with Autism.
Wearables for Diagnostics.
Wearables for Rehabilitation of Gait Disorders.

At our lab, we start with understanding the problem statement, conceptualization, device development, prototyping, clinical validation and end with launching the product / solution in the field among the actual end-users. This is possible with our interdisciplinary group of researchers from various backgrounds, such as electrical engineering, cognitive science, computer science, mechanical engineering, etc.

Our Lab has active collaboration with special needs schools, hospitals, clinicians both Nationally and Internationally.
